VOICEOVERS

I do voiceovers for various things from ads to TV documentaries. Below are some examples.

BORD GAIS CAMPAIGN - "TOMMY McANAIRY"

This brilliant series of ads was conceived by Rothco Ad Agency and directed by Piranha Bar's Gavin Kelly. 

 

The content and lyrics of these songs were created by John McMahon of Rothco. I got to put a bit of a tune to them - then play them badly on the banjo and sing them.

 

The ad subsequently won a Best Animation Award at The Irish Animation Awards and a silver bell ICAD award for animation.

THE IRISH NANNY - RTE DOCUMENTARY

"The Irish Nanny" was a documentary I narrated that was made by for RTE by Below The Radar.

 

It followed the case of Irish nanny Aisling Brady McCarthy, who spent two years in a US prison accused of killing a child in her care, before the prosecution was dropped when a state prosecutor ruled the cause of death was undetermined. 

 

It was broadcast on September 14th 2015 on RTE 1.
